Design

Colin Graham

Colin D. Graham makes graphic design, listens to music, and dreams of floating to Xibalba in a giant space bubble with his twin daughters Valentine and Violette. If he were a genre of music, he would probably be doom metal with many psychedelic/progressive leanings, which just means that he tends to move slow, be consistently late, and that he likes pretty colors and complex typographic grids.  If you care, you can see some of his design work at his website Attahk.

Photography

Los Angeles

Jen Ziliotto

Jennifer Ziliotto is a Los Angeles based freelance make-up artist, photographer and musician. As Make-up by Jennifer, she works in a broad array of media, from print campaigns to music videos. She has styled the likes of Kimberly Stuart, Kat Von D, Indie 103’s Full Metal Jackie, and bands such as Cute Is What We Aim For and Ben Lee. Her make-up portfolio can be viewed here. In the age of rapid digital, her photographic mind’s eye is fixed firmly on the endearingly slow grain aesthetic of the past.  She regularly employs her collection of vintage cameras including her beloved Holga, the almost extinct wonder of Polaroid, also the standard classics from the 70’s Canon’s Canonet and the Minolta SRT-202. You can view her work on her flickr page, here. Jennifer also plays guitar in a rock n’ roll band, PERYTON, with Halcyon’s own Sasha Lee.

Stockholm

Gabriel Harju

Gabriel Harju is a 22 years old moderately proud half-Bulgarian viking from Stockholm, Sweden. He currently works at a company that makes speaking books. But he lives his life in his spare time doing lots of weird, creative things including making concert visuals, graphic design and music with his band GB or Gobi Blaze, taking lots of pictures and examining his newly bought camcorder to name just a few. Apart from this, he’s probably a bit obsessive about music and collecting records and so he will from now on gladly bring his camera along to the various high profile concerts in Stockholm or wherever his travels bring him.
