Kill Kill Kill December 12th (Tonight) @ Pehrspace w/The Transmissions

I recently met Eric of Kill Kill Kill via the internerd and he informed me of his show coming up December 12th at Pehrspace. They play an intellectual blend of conceptual heavy black metal experimental noise injected with some math-rock/y tendencies, ie dissonance and unusual time structures & changes.
What I think I like most about Kill Kill Kill is that they have a roving troubadour pack of 4 various drummers they play with throughout the country, and they have spearheaded an ambitious project to create a new CDR album each month for the next 12 months. Also, they have a CDR release entitled VAMPYR SLYR. They clearly understand my penchant for lynyrd skynyrd spelling tributes.

This song is all like badass dudes eating pizza and crushing beer cans with their dragon beards and jamming super heavy experimental riffs with some down-tuned feefback until halfway through some dude’s kid is all like, “Dad give me a pink my little pony” and the dad is all, “Ok honey please let me finish riffing on this extremely brutal sesh.”

Yep, the hairy chested, cuff-wearin’ booze-fueled dudes of High on Fire will be playing for FREE tomorrow at the Knitting Factory, from 8-11pm. You just need to RSVP here.
Colin’s Note: Dudes! Don’t forget about Krallice, my favorite new black metal band who are also playing this show. Krallice fucking destroy, and also feature some tech-metal elite, namely Colin Marston also of Behold… The Arctopus, and Mick Barr of Orthrelm, and a past member of the Flying Lutenbachers! If you worried they might be too tech to play real black metal, have no fear, as Krallice manages too keep shit grim and kvlt and play pure fucking black metal, as the phrase goes, while still blowing minds with interweaving logorithmic guitar riffs and mathematical shit only those dudes could pull off. Plus, Mick Barr on vocals kicks ass. Hail Satan and drop out of life with bong in hand!
