Psychedelic Illustrations by Nicole Claveloux
Nicole Claveloux was born in Saint-Etienne, France in 1950 and moved to Paris in 1967. The fact that she illustrated a number of periodicals, magazines (including the French Heavy Metal magazine!) and even children’s novels in the late 60’s leads me to believe that forty years ago, there was a surprising abundance of talent on the radio waves and in the pages of printed stuff that is somehow lacking today. This girl would be designing band flyers for 5 bucks and a beer if she were around today. Lots more after the jump- even more from a 60’s image collector Oange on flickr.
